A/B 9000 is a two output switching/splitting unit and its main function is to split and line drive guitar or bass signals where true uncolored instrument’s tone is needed, both live and in studio. AB 9000 final                                                                                                                                       Price 189

It is a unity gain device and it contains one high impedance Input and two low impedance outputs with same output characteristics. One output is named Red and it’s driven by A-class pre-amp, and the second output is named Green and it’s also driven by its A class pre-amp. They are simultaneously switching on and off by A/B 9000‘s stomp switch. LED is bi-colored and it lights red color when Red output is active, or lights green color when Green output is active.

A/B 9000 is ideal for switching two separated signal paths, especially where driving long cable lengths is important. It is great to be used at the end of your pedal board if you want to switch amplifiers or amp channels, or/and anywhere in your signal path where  A/B switching is needed without any signal losses. A/B 9000 has the same characteristics as the tube amplifier input and it works with all guitars and basses available.

A/B 9000 works on 9v-DC, with center pin negative (-), up to 18v-DC for bigger headroom. Please use good DC adaptor, with isolated hum free outputs if it’s possible.

Additional uses of A/B 9000 & Hal 9000:

In any of the Hal 9000’s loops or/and after the Amp out, A/B 9000 can be very successfully used for changing signal paths or switching amplifiers.

Additional uses of A/B 9000 & Odyssey 9000:

After both of the Odyssey 9000’s outputs, especially after the Amp out, A/B 9000 can be very successfully used for changing signal paths or switching amplifiers.
